Before knowing how to change Unifi password, it is better if you understand first what Self-Care is. To be said in a brief manner, Self-Care is a tool which enables Unifi users to serve themselves. You may start to wonder, what does this ‘serve themselves’ mean?
In Unifi Self-Care, as a user you will be able to:
- View and deal with payment payoff
- Get updates of what Value Added Services (VAS) available to purchase, and also to purchase it.
- Get to review your billing statement, and
- Get some help if you are dealing with issues with the internet provider’s service.

Changing Your Unifi Password
To change your Unifi password, the procedure is pretty simple and it doesn’t require you a long, many listicles to follow. The procedure of changing the Unifi password does not exceed 4 steps.
- First of all, log in with your old password to Unifi Self-Care. Simply launch your browser and go to https://mobile.unifi.com.my/selfcare.
- Next, find out Profile tab on the screen. Click to activate the tab.
- You will find Personal Details Under the menu, continue by clicking the Edit button.
- Key in your new Unifi password, repeat typing your password once more to validate the new password. Then, confirm the change by clicking
The new password will be effective immediately as you click on Save button. So, anytime you need to login to your Unifi Self-Care account, you will be required to enter your email and your new password.
Aside by getting through the aforementioned method, you can also:
- Reset your password (which will literally change your password as well) by clicking Forgot Password on the portal login page. There will be a pop-up menu showing you to enter your email address in order to reset your password.
- Check your mailbox. You will get a link to redirect you to a password-resetting page, click it.
- On the reset password page, key in your new password twice on the corresponding box, and save it afterwards. The next time you log in, it’s the new password that you will need to input.
Change Wifi Name and Password Unifi
- Type 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1
- Type username and password. Default access Username: tmadmin Password: Adm@3F58, or please refer to the router sticker. Click Log in.
- Click menu Wireless.
- 2.4Ghz Wireless Network: Enable
- Network Name (SSID): Type new Wifi name. Example: WifiMalaysia
- Password: Type new password. Example: MalaysiaTerbaik
- 5Ghz Wireless Network: Enable
- Network Name (SSID): Type new Wifi name. Example: WifiMalaysia5G
- Password: Type new password. Example: MalaysiaTerbaik
- Click Save
