In general, you can update your phone number in various methods. The most convenient way to update it is via online banking service. You may remove the old phone number and then input the new phone number by signing into your online banking portal site. Alternatively, you may reach Hong Leong Bank Malaysia’s contact center via phone call at +603 7626 8899. Another way to update the phone number information is by visiting the nearest Hong Leong Bank branch office in person.

1. Change Hong Leong Phone Number via Online Banking

Here’s how to change Hong Leong phone number via HLB Connect online banking:

1. Open your computer’s browser and log into your HLB Connect online banking.
2. Open Settings menu and then open Update contact information.
3. Choose the Product Type.
4. Input the 6-digit TAC that’s being sent to you.
5. Edit your phone number information.
6. Select Next to verify the details change and then select Submit

2. Update Hong Leong Phone Number via Mobile Banking

Here’s how to change Hong Leong phone number via HLB Connect mobile banking:

1. Launch the HLB Connect mobile banking app.
2. Open Menu.
3. Select Credit Card Services menu.
4. Then choose Update Contact Info
5. Edit your phone number information
6. Then choose Next, Select Save changes after you’ve done
7. Input the 6-digit TAC that’s being sent to you

TAC code is valid for 5 minutes after it is being sent. It is sent to your registered phone number, so if you’re happened to not have access to it, you may choose to change your phone number information by calling the customer service of Hong Leong Bank at +603 7626 8899. The service is available from Monday to Saturday, at 9 A.M to 6 P.M.

After you have updated your phone number information, the old registered phone number will be removed from HLB’s record. You may perform your banking activities as usual 30 minutes after you update the contact details. However, the process may take up to 3 business days if you change the details by filling form in the HLB branch office.
